Recognized for Contributions to the Regional Tech Startup Ecosystem

COMMONLINK Inc. (CEO Junyoung Park) received the Governor’s Award of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province at the opening ceremony of “2025 Gangwon Startup Week”, held on November 4 at the Startup Cube, Kangwon National University.

“2025 Gangwon Startup Week” is the largest startup event in the Gangwon region, co-hosted by the Gangwon Regional Office of SMEs and Startups and the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.A total of 39 startup support organizations, including the KNU Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Gangwon Association of Business Incubation Centers, and the Gangwon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, participated in the event.This year’s theme focuses on “New Technologies and Deep-Tech Entrepreneurship”, and the event will continue through November 7.

COMMONLINK, a resident company at the Halla University Business Incubation Center, is developing SWAVI (Surface WAVe Interface), a surface acoustic recognition–based interface technology that enables invisible touch and gesture interaction.

The award recognizes COMMONLINK’s contributions to the regional startup ecosystem and its leadership in deep-tech innovation and entrepreneurship.

CEO Junyoung Park stated,
